Caj Fri

So it’s caj fri which is the ultimate casual way of saying “casual friday”. I’m not even certain if my work embraces this day but today, in preparation for the long holiday weekend I decided to bring this day to a whole new level of relaxation. Yes, I am wearing Shoes’s shirt that I stole from his closet while he was holding Pablo this morning. Although we aren’t going out of town for this splendid Memorial Day weekend, we are getting massages, poolin it with my fam, and eating out a ton. What are you guys up to?

Touring City Creek

It’s kind of depressing  flattering when all of my friends know without asking that I was at the grand opening of city creek and want to take their first steps into the fantastical mall with me as their tour guide. Yes, I am deemed tour guide. Up until a few nights ago, my bestie had never set foot in city creek. Wha?! I know, it’s weird. We are nothing alike. We rode our bikes because we are hipster like that and had dinner at Kneaders before touring the land and purchasing unnecessary necessities for our closets. Lastly we stopped at our most favorite store, Nordstrom and the lights of heaven shown down upon it.

Sometimes and a Last Night

Sometimes Shoes and I get hungry and want Betos more than the chocolate cake in our fridge.

Sometimes it’s at 10:30 at night.

Sometimes we decide to ride our bikes to Betos.

Sometimes we get too lazy to go inside and we ride our bikes through the drive-thru

Sometimes the lady at the drive-thru window thinks we are brother and sister because we don’t act like we are married.

Sometimes I wonder what we are supposed to act like because we are married.

Sometimes I finish my whole burrito with no regrets.

Last night, I shared half of my burrito with Shoes and I rode through the drive-thru of Betos with my best friend.

Family Delight

Remember this post? Well, it just so happens that Jelly has a few more of those “almost cousins” but we just call them family. If you marry one of us, you marry into this family too.  Total there are three families: The Bunker’s, the Storey’s, and the Wall’s.  All of our dads are attorneys, all of our moms are wonderful, and  there are a total of eight kids (plus a few spouses) between all of us.  This past weekend, we all got together at the Storey’s for a fabulous bbq.  Brats. Hamburgers. Turkey Burgers. Carol’s perfectly delicious homemade hot fudge. Woof. Here is a sampling of the delight that took place according to instagram.

Elliott got Pablo so drunk that he had to hold him up because he couldn’t walk on his own.

Gallery Stroll

Every third friday of the month, downtown Salt Lake City hosts a gallery stroll. Small stores, coffee shops, boutiques, and yes, even galleries open their doors to walls displayed with local art. This past Friday we invited my friend Dustin and his cute girlyfriend Bailey to join us in all of our strolling. After strolling through an ode to Star Wars exhibit  we decided to go to one of my favorite places for dinner/dessert; Gourmandise. Mmmmm…. I can just taste the Raspberry Tartlet.

Pink Lips and Puddles

Today is a very rainy day in Utah. So rainy that Shoes and I had to get Market Street for breakfast. Eggs Benedict and a Diet Coke to go. Whenever the weather is gloomy or the mood in the air mirrors that same feeling, my mom always says dress up and do your make-up. So, today I decided to follow my own mothers advice and the advice of many Vogue Stylists. Bright Pink Lipstick. Shockingly pink and the perfect way to cheer up a not so sunny day. Pink lips and puddles.

When Pablo goes to Puppy Class

When Pablo goes to puppy class he gets scared of the other dogs and feels safe hiding under daddy’s chair. When Pablo goes to puppy class he sits but only when mommy or daddy ask him and he thinks the instructor is weird (because he is). When Pablo goes to puppy class he gets scared when the other dogs get loud because he hasn’t found his bark yet. When Pablo goes to puppy class he only eats the beef flavored treats and only when mommy or daddy give them to him. When Pablo goes to puppy class his parents pretend to be scared dogs too because they’re weird and don’t want him to feel lonely. When Pablo goes to puppy class he gets tired and wants to go home and play where he feels safe. Let’s just say, it’s a work in progress.
